The primary method of submitting assignments in Canvas is a uploading files. All active students have access to Microsoft Office, for more information, please visit https://www.regent.edu/office365

Once your document has been saved, navigate to the assignment in Canvas, the file upload options should appear as below. If you see an option between "Text Submission" or "Upload" choose "Upload."

Uploading from your PC

Upload will allow you to upload documents directly from your PC. Once you click on the rocket icon, it will open your file system and allow you to select your document.

  • Note: Be sure you note the exact name and timestamp with the document. Canvas does not allow a preview before uploading the document.

Uploading from a Regent OneDrive folder

If you saved your document on OneDrive, this OneDrive folder might not be accessible on your PC. You may click on the "Office 365" button to access your Regent One Drive.

  • Note: This button can only access your Regent One Drive account. It cannot access non-Regent Office 365 personal accounts. Please see the following page for more information on how to log into your Office 365 account: https://www.regent.edu/office365

Locate your file and then click on the checkbox. Once selected, you can click on "Attach File"
