Exporting bookmarks from Google Chrome



  1. On your computer, open Chrome
  2. At the top right, select More (1) and then Bookmarks and lists (2) and then Bookmark Manager (3).
  3. At the top, select More (4) and then Export Bookmarks (5).
  4. Chrome exports your bookmarks as an HTML file. When choosing a destination, select your Desktop or Documents folders. This file will be used to import your bookmarks into the other computer.

Importing is much the same as exporting except you'll select Import Bookmarks at the last step in the above images and then select the HTML file.




Exporting Bookmarks from Firefox



  1. Click the menu button (1) to open the menu panel. Click Bookmarks (2) and then click the Manage bookmarks bar (3) at the bottom.
  2. In the toolbar of the Library window click Import and Backup (4) and choose Export Bookmarks to HTML… (5) from the drop-down menu.
  3. Firefox exports your bookmarks as an HTML file. When choosing a destination, select your Desktop or Documents folders. This file will be used to import your bookmarks into the other computer.

Exporting Favorites from Microsoft Edge



  1. In your Microsoft Edge browser, open the Settings and more menu (1) in the upper-right corner of the window.
  2. Navigate to Favorites (2).
  3. Open the More options menu by selecting … (3) above the list of favorited websites.
  4. Select Export favorites (4).
  5. Edge exports your favorites as an HTML file. When choosing a destination, select your Desktop or Documents folders. This file will be used to import your favorites into the other computer.

Importing is much the same as exporting except you'll select Import Favorites at the last step in the above images and then select the HTML file.
