Notes from the Team
- Students seem to get confused quite easily on this form. The view itself is not as intuitive as we would like. For example, we make it so that sessions that have already passed (for example, Session A) cannot be filled in by the student and instead pull what their actual registration was. It may be better to simply pull that, but not display it to the student (they report trying to fill out that section and finding it confusing).
- Perhaps also taking it one question at a time (turbo tax style) rather than showing them all the questions at once would be helpful. Example, asking them about fall, then moving on to spring.
- We don't necessarily need to have them tell us how many credits they are taking each session. We need to know the mix of sessions they will be enrolled in, and their total overall enrollment status for the semester as a whole. Students seem to get confused and anxious about the specific number of sessions per credit that they report.
Workflow:
- The workflow should follow the existing workflow in place today (which has some nuances, see the P&P).
