Zoom meetings may be configured directly inside Canvas. This allows for scheduled meetings to appear in an easy-to-access place for students.


*Please note: In order for instructors or students to use this feature fully, a sign-in attempt must occur once to the assigned Regent Zoom account by using regent.zoom.us. Any subsequent sign-ins will be done using the "Single Sign On" (SSO) option in the Zoom application, which will use faculty or student email credentials.



Simply click on "Schedule a New Meeting" and configure accordingly by time and how you wish the meeting to take place. 


For professors setting up the room to allow students to have independent group sessions, please note that each student must be configured as a host. Ensure "Enable join before host" is on and the students' email addresses are listed in the "Alternative hosts" box.
