Master Course Shell to Live Course Shell
In Canvas, the Course Copy Process is as follows:
Open the Destination course and click settings.
On the right side of the Settings page, click on Reset Course Content.
When the popup appears, click Reset Course Content.
Note: double-check that you are on the right course, as this process is irreversible.

In a new window, open the Source Course and copy the course name (on the right, click on Settings to get the course name).
Back in the Destination course settings page, click on Import Content.
On the new page, click the dropdown for Content-Type and select Copy a Canvas Course.
In the Search for a course box, paste the name of your source course.
Next to the Content option, select All Content and click Import.
Verify content was copied successfully.
Please note: The course copy/import process will be the exact copy from the source course. Please review and update the copied content (Announcements, Discussions, Modules, and Gradbook) as needed.
