We generally cannot endorse a particular candidates or party, provide financial backing to a particular candidate or party, or allow staff during working hours to engage in activities that assist one party or candidates political campaign. We are allowed to host candidates for speaking engagements, as long as we provide substantially equal time to the competing candidate. In short, we can academically educate students about political parties, candidates, and the importance of voting. We cannot seek to influence their decision regarding what party or candidate to support.
